The report, released on Friday 11th September, says the Glee star raised her arm and cried out for assistance when she accidentally drowned while boating with her four-year-old son in Lake Piru, California on July 13th.

Ventura County Medical Examiner explained that Naya's little boy, Josey Hollis Dorsey, remembered he and his mother shouting "1,2,3" before jumping off the pontoon boat into the water.

"The decedent would have vertigo to the point of vomiting, but she learned to control the symptoms with antihistamines," it said.

Medical examiner's toxicology tests revealed that the actress had low level amounts of diazepam - the anti-anxiety drug - and the appetite suppressant phentermine in her system.

At the time of her death, Naya's blood alcohol concentration was 0.016.

The report stated that Naya had "no known history of suicidal ideation or attempt".

The TV star was aged 33 when she went missing on July 8th after taking her son out on the hired pontoon boat on Lake Piru, just outside of Los Angeles.
